
Ms. Susanne Pedersen is the Assistant Director-General and Head of the Investment and Policy Solutions Division (IPSD) at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI).
She has more than 25 year’s international experience as a manager, board member and strategic advisor with P&L responsibility. She has set-up international subsidairy companies, established new functional and service areas, and managed large-scale teams and projects. Ms. Pedersen also has a unique insight into GGGI as former Strategic Advisor to the former Chairman of GGGI, now Prime Minister of Denmark, Mr. Lars Løkke Rasmussen, whom she supported from January 2013 to March 2014, initiating many strategic and organizational development changes in GGGI.
A national of Denmark, she was the Managing Director of Climate-KIC Nordic Aps, where she was responsible for building up the Nordic Region under the Climate-Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC) which is Europe’s largest public-private partnership on climate innovation toward a low-carbon future. Ms. Pedersen holds a B. Com. (HD – International Trade) from Copenhagen Business School and a MA in American Social Studies, minor in Economics.
