
Talia is the Knowledge Tools and Research Specialist for the NDC Partnership Support Unit. She works within WRI’s Climate program to conduct high-impact global research, manage NDCP’s knowledge tools, and support communications to advance climate action.
Prior to joining the NDC Partnership, Talia was a research intern at WRI with the Global Commission on Adaptation. Prior to joining WRI, Talia worked as a field ecologist in Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks, where she studied change in wetland and lake ecosystems. She has also worked at Clean Water Action in Boston as a project consultant and paralegal.
Talia completed an MS in Natural Resources at Cornell University with a focus on community-based research and climate adaptation. Her research took her to the Pamir Mountains of Central Asia, where she worked with subsistence farmers in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to incorporate indigenous ecological knowledge into climate adaptation strategies.Talia holds a BA from Oberlin College in Geology and Environmental Studies.
