Ulf Jaeckel

Ulf Jaeckel is Head of Division of Sustainable Consumer Protection, Product-related Environmental Protection, Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, Germany (BMU). Dr. Jaeckel has been working in the ministry since 1994 and since 2006 has covered the area of ​​"product-related environmental protection, sustainable consumer protection policy" (including ecodesign guidelines, Blue Angel and other environmental labels, life cycle assessments, national and international consumer policy, environmentally friendly procurement, standardization, etc.). He is also head of the United Nations consumer information program and represents the federal government in various national and international bodies.
