
Xinwan LIU is currently a graduate student pursuing her master degree in International Affairs at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She has a Bachelor of Law in International Politics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. She has been working on transboundary natural resources management and conflict mitigation in East Africa, as well as intergovernmental collaborate regime in maintaining the sustainable environment of the outer space for her graduate studies. She has also been interested in non-governmental market-driven approaches to promote labour rights and environmental compliance. She has previously worked as a research intern at a global risk and strategic consulting firm, Control Risks, on projects including identifying the trends of Chinese social unrest outburst resulting from labour disputes, environmental hazards, and land use disputes. She is also involved in a student initiative at the Graduate Institute in search ofsocial innovation that can provide system solution to specific problems in global governance. She is very excited to join the Green Growth Knowledge Platform, which she finds perfectly match her belief in the importance of knowledge sharing and innovation in problem solving.
