KOPLAN´s objective is to contribute to the sustainable economic development in Mexico and Central America, supporting the transfer and use of sustainable technologies in the private sector. For this, the program fosters the development and consolidation of national and regional private sector networks in Mexico and Central America, cooperating with private sector chambers and associations in the region, as well as counterparts in countries where providers of climate and environmental technologies are situated. The collaboration with German national and regional as well as bilateral private sector chambers and associations, as well as economic development agencies is thereby an important cornerstone. KOPLAN fosters capacity building in Mexican and Central American private sector associations in order to strengthen the sustainable transfer of international environmental and climate technologies and supports activities aimed at helping companies from the region getting to know and investing in sustainable technologies.
