Towards green growth in emerging and developing Asia is a 2-year OECD horizontal project, part of the East Asia Climate Partnership programme. Launched in 2012, it aims to promote green growth in ASEAN countries in line with the region’s development objectives. Building on the OECD’s expertise on green growth and knowledge of the Southeast Asian (SEA) region, this work follows up on the OECD Green Growth Strategy, Strategy on Development and Green Growth Indicators, to tailor lessons to the specificities of ASEAN economies. As a result, it will support learning and strengthen regional engagement and co-operation on green growth, in co-ordination with the OECD SEA Regional Programme. The project will produce three intermediate outputs: (a) Synthesis paper: What have we learned from attempts to introduce green growth policies?; (b) Report: Toward Green Growth in Emerging and Developing Asia; (c) Database: Green Growth Indicators in Emerging and Developing Asia.
