This policy insight examines various policy options for the EU to support the implementation of negative emissions technologies. It presents an overview of existing measures that support negative emissions worldwide and reviews the EU's climate policy frameworks from the perspective of potentially integrating negative emissions. The research then examines and highlights specific measures to provide recommendations.
