Country Climate and Development Reports (CCDRs) are the World Bank's new diagnostic reports that aim to inform country development strategies in a manner that integrates climate and development. They will also support countries as they define, update and implement their NDCs by identifying ways to increase resilience and adaptation and reduce GHG emissions while not hindering development at the same time.

CCDRs will help inform policy and institutional reforms, as well as public and private investments, that support high-impact climate action. They build on data and rigorous research and identify main pathways to reduce GHG emissions and climate vulnerabilities. As public documents, CCDRs aim to inform governments, citizens, the private sector and development partners and enable engagements with the development and climate agenda.

The first set of CCDRs is already published and available. These first reports offer emerging insights that are relevant for a global audience and include countries like Malawi, Rwanda, Kazakhstan and Turkey.
