Decarbonising ASEAN's Hard to Abate and High Emitting Sectors: Transition finance, technologies and policy approaches

As countries across Southeast Asia pursue net-zero targets, financing credible and inclusive transition pathways has become increasingly urgent across key sectors. 

This study reviews the current landscape, identifies key challenges and highlights emerging practices to mobilize transition finance within the region’s unique energy, financia and industrial contexts. 

It also examines tools such as sustainability-linked instruments, blended finance and supportive policy frameworks.
