This report highlights the pressing issues within India's agricultural sector, focusing on the constraints faced by the country's 126 million small and marginal farmers, particularly women, who are significantly impacted by limited access to technologies, services and markets.
The report is part of the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) is a global initiative focused on “making nature’s values visible”. Its principal objective is to mainstream the values of biodiversity and ecosystem services into decision-making at all levels.
