This report aims to help countries enhance climate action by including the opportunities offered by nature-based solutions in their revised nationally determined contributions (NDCs). It reviews guidance from several institutions on using nature-based solutions for climate change and how nature-based solutions are featured in existing NDCs. Based on that review, this publication presents eight simple recommendations for integrating nature into NDCs, along with exemplary text from 2015 NDCs for each recommendation and a list of resources for further guidance.
