The five Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries — Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine — are at the strategically important crossroads of Western Asia and Europe. They host a variety of geographic and climatic profiles and possess rich endowments of natural resources.
The report aims to offer policymakers and experts an innovative, interactive tool for monitoring the green transition in EaP countries. It covers five key areas: socio-economic context, natural asset base, environmental resource productivity, environmental quality of life, and economic opportunities and policy responses.
The framework is intended to support informed decision-making, facilitate benchmarking and enhance the visibility of EaP countries in OECD-wide work, particularly in the context of European integration.
