Global Framework for Action

The built environment is both a major socio-economic driver and environmental challenge, contributing 11–13% of global GDP and representing over $24.7 trillion in investment opportunities. 

The Global Framework for Action provides a practical, collaborative roadmap to operationalise sustainable and circular public procurement in the sector. 

Co-developed with over 200 stakeholders, it defines common principles and high-impact actions, and advances SDG 12.7.1 by embedding sustainable procurement in public systems.
