Green purchasing has been recognized as an effective approach to not only minimize environmental impacts, but also to help with the shift towards sustainable consumption and production.
This report by the International Green Purchasing Network (IGPN) promotes the concept of green purchasing and highlights best practices for achieving sustainable consumption and production. It aims to bring together IGPN members' experiences and offers examples of environment friendly products and services as well as accelerate knowledge sharing. Its target audience is procurement officers, purchasers, sustainability coordinators and others organizations interested in promoting green purchasing.
