Growing Green Business Investments in Asia and the Pacific: Trends and opportunities

This paper discusses the opportunities and challenges for green businesses in Asia and the Pacific. It also identifies the market motivations, regulatory and nonregulatory mechanisms, and implications for companies. The imperative for green businesses is growing in the region. In many Asian countries, governments are introducing policies, regulations, initiatives and other solutions to mainstream sustainable approaches to consumption and production. However, there are still many challenges to scale up these measures in the region.
