Delivering on Brazil’s climate and sustainable development goals will depend on scaling climate finance. 

This report tracks climate finance flowing to and within Brazil from 2019 to 2023, across domestic and international, public and private actors. The five-year analysis establishes a baseline to assess trends, progress, gaps and opportunities in Brazil’s climate finance landscape over time. 

It also maps finance across the full lifecycle, from sources and instruments to how funds are channelled and deployed on the ground.
