The Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production (RECP) Navigator aims to inform development professionals about the relevance of RECP and about existing instruments to support it. It also supports project staff in choosing the right instruments for their specific needs and circumstances. The navigator offers recommendations on what to be aware of when setting up and managing a programme for supporting RECP in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). RECP is a preventive, enterprise level approach to improve resource use, reduce environmental pollution and contribute to sustainable industrial development.
