Uzbekistan Climate Adaptation and Resilience Assessment

Uzbekistan is committed to achieving sustainable growth through a green economy transition by 2030.

The report conducts an economy-wide assessment of Uzbekistan’s adaptation and resilience, applying adaptation principles to identify key gaps and propose critical actions and policy recommendations.

It examines the foundation for inclusive economic growth, mechanisms to support adaptation for people and firms, and policies for adapting land use and protecting critical public assets. It also evaluates how the system manages residual risks and natural disasters, as well as financial and macro-fiscal issues.
