Strengthening upstream project origination for climate investment pipelines (CIP–Readiness) project supports countries in turning national climate priorities into investment-ready opportunities. Implemented by GGGI in partnership with the Korea Development Institute (KDI), and supported by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Korea through the Korea Green New Deal Trust Fund (KGNDTF), the initiative strengthens the early stages of climate project development, where promising ideas are transformed into well-defined, nationally endorsed investment concepts that can enter formal preparation pipelines.
The booklet introduces the CIP–Readiness approach, its priority investment areas, selected country and regional flagship projects, and opportunities for Korean public and private sector partners to contribute technical expertise, innovation, and practical solutions to emerging climate investment priorities.
