The Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention has developed this interactive electronic training tool to assist developing countries and countries with economies in transition in implementing the technical guidelines for the environmentally sound management of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) wastes.
The tool provides information on the technical guidelines on POPs wastes in a simple and interactive manner and targets persons involved in the management of POPs wastes that already have a basic knowledge on the subject. These include handlers of hazardous chemical waste, treatment and destruction industries, owners of POPs wastes, relevant government regulators and trainers on hazardous waste management.
The training tool is available in English, French and Spanish.
