On 27 June 2022, from 14:00-16:00 CAT, the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), Capitals Coalition, Green Economy Coalition (GEC), and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) hosted the opening plenary session of the 2022 Africa Green Economy Conference.
The session featured keynote addresses from African Finance and Environment Ministers and an expert panel on the theme of Moving Toward a Nature-Positive Economy, which explored the following questions:

How can investing in nature spur a green recovery?

What role will the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework play in preserving and restoring Africa’s biodiversity and what is the potential impact on countries’ economies and societies?
