On 31 January 2022 (16:00-17:00 PHT/MNL, 9:00-10:00 CET), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) are hosting the webinar Aligning Public Development Banks with the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
Global engagement is critical in accelerating the achievement of climate objectives, especially through approaches in private finance and investments. This webinar aims to address how public development banks (PDBs) can support the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework and foster in-country enabling conditions.
Panelists will unpack the concept of and necessary actions for 'financing green.' A keynote presentation on the findings and results of the WWF-The Biodiversity Consultancy study, "Public Development Banks and Biodiversity: How PDBs can align with the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework" will be delivered as well.
