On 8 June 2022 (17:00 CEST/11:00 EDT), Ceres will host the webinar Assessing Climate Transition Plans in the US Food Sector and will launch its new report “The Investor Guide to Climate Transition Plans in the US Food Sector.”

The webinar will highlight the need for US food companies to disclose plans for achieving their greenhouse gas (GHG) targets to align with the Paris Agreement, and outline what investors should look for within corporate climate disclosures to ensure companies are on the right track.

The discussion will also illustrate what implementation of the reports’ recommendations can look like in practice, highlighting publicly available disclosure on efforts to reduce value chain GHG emissions from companies tracked by Ceres’ Food Emissions 50 initiative such as Bunge, Chipotle, General Mills, Hershey, Starbucks and Tyson Foods.

Moderator: Julie Nash, Senior Program Director, Food and Forests, Ceres.
