On 24 November 2021 (15:00–16:45 CET), the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) is hosting the webinar Chemical Recycling: What Is the State of Play Globally?
With emerging discussions around plastic waste generation, chemical recycling is being featured as one of the potential solutions to address and restructure the challenge of waste. The objective of the webinar will be to discuss the state of play of chemical recycling technologies globally, as well as the challenges and opportunities offered by innovative solutions. Reference will also be made about major barriers for further upscaling such technologies (market, economic, policy), policy approaches globally and potential trade-offs.
Speakers will exchange knowledge and information on the role of chemical recycling, sharing ways to engage with tangible and discursive practices.
