On 27 January 2022 (13:00-14:30 IST), the Low Emissions Development Strategies Global Partnership and Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement are hosting the webinar Climate Action at the Sub-National Level–The Role and Importance of MRV.
This is the final session of their webinar series on localized and urban climate action and will specifically addresses key concepts of measurement, verification and monitoring (MRV), with considerations for sub-national integration. The presentation will draw on examples and reflect on lessons learned from using climate action planning frameworks and tools to demonstrate how MRV can be strengthened to better facilitate the achievement of climate objectives.
The session will include guest presentations on MRV in practice at both sub-national and national levels. A Q&A session will also be integrated in the end to discuss further opportunities and challenges.
