On 23 June 2020 at 14:30 (CEST), Energypedia is hosting a webinar on "Powering WASH - Renewable Energy for Water Supply in Humanitarian Settings".
This webinar will address the need and relevance of reliable renewable energy for water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in humanitarian settings. Oxfam will provide an overview on solar-powered water pumping, followed by a case study from the Internaitonal Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), exploring lessons learned and relevant business and implementation models for powering WASH with renewable energy. ReNewGies will then present its Rapid Feasibility Assessment Tool. This webinar will also briefly discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the provision and sustainability of WASH services.
