As cities expand zero emission zones to improve air quality, it becomes increasingly difficult for polluting vehicles to access city centres. Future-proofing city operations is just one of the reasons why Ingka Group set a target for zero emission home delivery in the inner city areas of Amsterdam, Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Shanghai by 2020. They’re powering ahead on the transformation and just announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the goal has been achieved in Shanghai, one year ahead of schedule.
