
On 9 January 2019 3:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada) Department of Forestry Forest Carbon and Climate Michigan State University is hosting a webinar on "Forest-Climate Working Group 2018-19 Learning Exchange Series".
This webinar is the fourth in the 2018-19 Learning Exchange Series covering current topics and issues in domestic forest carbon policies and management approaches for a changing climate. The Learning Exchange Series is offered in collaboration between the Forest-Climate Working Group and the Michigan State University Department of Forestry Forest Carbon and Climate Program.
The Forest-Carbon and Climate Program (FCCP) aims to increase the understanding and implementation of climate-forest management, which inextricably links climate change mitigation and adaptation. The FCCP was established to connect professionals, natural resource managers, decision-makers, students and the broader public with the value of forested lands and forest products in addressing climate change.
This series will be hosted by Lauren Cooper, the Forest Carbon, and Climate Program Director.
Dylan Jenkins of Finite Carbon will present "Forest Carbon Offsets: A Viable Opportunity for US Landowners?".
