If we are to transition to a sustainable economy there is a strong need to accelerate the global deployment of renewable energy. This joint GGKP webinar with Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) highlighted how the voluntary market can play a key role in addressing this issue. The Executive Director of CRS, Jennifer Martin, presented a Toolkit for Supporting Voluntary Markets, and provided an overview of the key elements to creating effective and robust voluntary renewable energy markets.
On 12 December 2016 (6:00 PM CEST), the GGKP held a webinar covering: renewable energy attributes, tracking systems, certification and additional policy mechanisms, whilst demonstrating how these tools can facilitate the growth of the voluntary renewable energy product types and procurement options.
