GGKP Webinar - Rebuilding Better: New materials and systems for resource efficient SMEs

Organisation :
Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP)

What are the most promising sustainable materials in different sectors?

How can innovations in design and manufacturing reduce material needs?

How can digital technologies help SMEs become resource efficient with minimal investment?

How can research—industry collaboration and cross-border information sharing accelerate the development of sustainable methods and materials?

On 29 September (3-4:30pm CEST), experts from the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials (IFAM), SEED,  Footprints Africa, Laudes Foundation, United Nations Environment Programme and the VDI Centre for Resource Efficiency discussed the latest innovations in materials efficiency and digitalisation strategies for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME).

During this webinar, you'll also learn more about the Global Opportunities for SDGs (GO4SDGs) initiative, which offers policymakers, industry players and civil society a range of tools to help support countries accelerate the transition to inclusive green economies and sustainable living. The initiative’s menu of services includes instruments designed to support sustainability in SMEs, including online circular economy training and tools for communicating with consumers on product sustainability.
