
A number of advisory services are available free of charge to policy makers, policy advisors, and supporting institute to support the transition to an inclusive green economy.
These services offer specialised support on a range of key green economy approaches, including green energy transformation, climate change mitigation, and implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Experts are available to analyse policy and technology options, draft or review policy and planning documents, share best practices from other countries, and advise on how to mobilise finance or identify funding opportunities.

Green Growth Expert Connect, which provides custom-tailored support on a range of key approaches to achieving green growth, including fiscal reform, green public procurement, access to finance, natural capital-based approaches, sustainable trade, and more.
Climate Helpdesk, which provides technical assistance to developing countries on NDC implementation and Low Emission development (LEDS) analysis, including subnational integration and linkages with climate resilience, finance, energy, transportation, and waste questions. The Climate Helpdesk also offers support with preparation of biennial update reports (BURs), establishing sustainable and robust Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems, and preparation for the Enhanced Transparency Framework and climate reporting requirements under the UNFCCC. It is a joint service of the three global initiatives: NDC Support Cluster, LEDS GP and the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA), in cooperation with the NDC Partnership.
SDG Helpdesk, which builds structures and capacities for integrated policy design and reporting on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), NDCs and Aichi targets. This includes supporting the implementation of strategic environmental policy processes, providing guidance materials for improved methods and approaches to SDG implementation, and promoting the sharing and exchange of experiences through stakeholder dialogues.
Technical Assistance from the Climate and Technology Center & Network, which delivers technical support on climate technologies. This includes technical assessments (recommendations of specific technologies to address specific needs, identification of technology barriers, and piloting and deployment of technologies); technical support for policy and planning documents; technology training; tools and methodologies; and implementation plans.
Clean Energy Solutions Center "Ask an Expert", which specializes in clean energy policy. Experts are available to provide support for the development of clean energy strategies, regulations and standards, financial incentives and deployment programs, and to review drafts of policy measures and strategies, conduct research, share best practices from other countries, and engage in consultations by phone and email.
Climate and Clean Air Coalition's "Expert Assistance", which specializes in climate change mitigation and clean air. Expert are available to provide guidance on technological options, mitigation measures (like those carried out by CCAC initiatives), funding opportunities, application of measurement tools, and policy development.
