On 6 November 2017 (15:00 CEST), the International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG) is holding a webinar on "Climate Change Impacts on Terrestrial Biodiversity and Ecosystems". This ICCG  webinar summarizes some of the main findings of the 5th Assessment Report of the IPCC in relation to terrestrial biodiversity and ecosystems.

Presentation by: Prof. Dr. Josef Settele, Dept. of Community Ecology at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ). 

UFZ is the winner of the 2016 edition of the ICCG Climate Think Tank Ranking, according to the Absolute Ranking.

This webinar is being held during ICCG Climate Week, which is taking place from 6-12 November 2017 in conjunction with the first week of the 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) to the UN Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It will include a series of webinar lectures and dissemination activities on climate change sciences and governance, mostly linked to its observatories’ activities and awards.
