
On 3 Nov 2020 at 10:00 (CET), the Life Cycle Initiative and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) are hosting a webinar on "Introduction to the Life Cycle Thinking e-learning courses".
This e-learning course draws on materials from the Life Cycle Initiative and it is aimed at helping give all participants an overview of life cycle approaches while developing understanding as to how to assess the impacts of any given sustainability issue considering all of its life cycle stages. The course is also intended as a guide to which kind of LCT tools are to be used to which purpose. This course is made up of four modules: an overarching introduction to life cycle thinking and its applications in public policies, businesses, and by consumers.
This webinar will:
- Briefly introduce the concepts of Life Cycle Thinking;
- Introduce the different courses and how they can be used; and
- Showcase a selection of case studies to demonstrate the value of the life cycle approach.
