On 15-16 February 2022, the World Resources Institute is hosting a webinar series on how ministries of finance and/or the economy are addressing climate financing, and on solutions related to sovereign debt derived from COVID-19 and its effect on climate action.
These discussions aim to promote the exchange of experiences among officials from ministries of finance and/or the economy from Latin America and the Caribbean on low-carbon and resilient development. The exchange will allow participants to delve deeper into debates on how countries in the region can take advantage of different tools to achieve their climate action goals and how to address the challenges within the socio-economic context of the region.
