On 2 September 2021 (12.30-14.00 CEST), GIZ is hosting the first session of its webinar series on "The Nexus Chemistry – Climate Change: Understanding Trends, Risk and Opportunities".
Session 1: Role and importance of the chemical industry for tackling climate change
Objective: To discuss the global perspectives of sustainable chemistry for climate protection and to raise awareness of the importance of the chemical industry for climate protection.
The webinar series is organized by CAPCI (Climate Action Programme for the Chemical Industry) in cooperation with the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and the Capacity Building Network of the United Nations Climate Secretariat (PCCB-Network).
These webinar series consist of 4 sessions of 90 minutes each that address different aspects and perspectives of the nexus chemistry – climate change. It is meant for a broad range of stakeholders from public and private sector along the entire value chain of chemicals production and use.
