On 7 July at 19.45 (CEST), One Planet is holding a virtual event to launch the SDG 12 Hub, a new tool to support UN member states in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal on responsible consumption and production. The Hub aims to consolidate and visualize the results of national reporting on SDG 12 indicators, making these publicly available, and allow member states to browse progress on SDG 12 by country or by individual targets at global and regional level.
The event, being held during the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLFP), will focus on the importance of tracking SDG 12 and having accessible and transparent data for national policy development, and the potential of the SDG 12 Hub as a tool to guide national interventions on sustinable consumption and production.
A live user-testing phase will be conducted in July and August and will serve as the basis for further improvements to the Hub in 2021-2022.
