On 17 November 2021 (15:00 CET), the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) is hosting the EIEES–WEEEP Webinar Series: The Economic Cost of Climate Change.
To better estimate and understand the impact of climate conditions on various productive elements of the economy, the event will present new evidence gained from a unique data set of subnations economic output worldwide. Findings show that temperature changes affect productivity levels considerably, particularly in low-income, low-latitude regions. Based on such findings, the webinar series aims to convene the academic community to contribute to the scientific, economic and policy discourses on important environmental and energy issues.
