Over the last several years, the world has witnessed a barrage of commitments from governments, businesses and others who have promised action to slow climate change and create a more sustainable world. Yet, too often these promises have gone unfulfilled. As the world begins to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is time for world leaders to back up their words with action.
