Country Diagnostic Studies on Gender and Renewable Energy

Gender-focused renewable energy diagnostics for Ghana, Liberia, Mali, Lesotho, Madagascar and Malawi highlight strategies to enhance women’s participation, leadership and access to finance in advancing Africa’s renewable energy transition.

The case studies explore how national energy strategies can better integrate gender equality; spotlighting barriers women face, opportunities for inclusion and entry points for change.
