On 18-20 September 2024, the African Development Bank (AfDB) will host the 2024 Transport Forum under the theme "Africa on the Move- accelerating sustainable transport and logistics connectivity.
The forum aims to foster dialogue between the AfDB and its regional member countries to promote efficient policies, institutional frameworks and strategic research in transport. It will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including government representatives, experts, donors, international organizations, the private sector, academia and NGOs.
The Forum will also focus on advancing early-stage transport projects by discussing innovative financing mechanisms and technological interventions.
