On 26 May 2023 (09:00-10:30 GMT+3/08:00-09:30 CET), the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is hosting Key Actions to Achieve Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa at the AfDB Annual Meeting.
The First Ten-Year Implementation Plan of Agenda 2063 anticipated that by 2023, African economies would be transformed, inclusive and sustainable, with a GDP growth of 7% annually. Against this background, the African Union Commission, the African Development Bank and the African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA- NEPAD) are partnering to undertake a multi-sector study to bring out actions required to place each African country on a path of 7-10% annual GDP growth, sustained over the remaining 40-year implementation period of the Agenda 2063.
This thematic session will elicit stakeholders' comments, inputs and feedback on the report's preliminary findings.
