Developed to stimulate growth in the tourism sector the national report Uganda National Tourism Sector Development Plan focuses on unlocking the binding constraints in five priority areas namely; marketing and promotion, human resource development, product development, natural and cultural resource conservation, and tourism management and regulation. These priorities emerged out of wide national consultations and are also aligned with the National Development Plan II (NDP II) priorities.

Developed through a multi-sectoral consultative process, the policy paper Transition to Green Growth: Policy options highlights the key actions for Uganda's transition towards inclusive sustainable and transformative development. The overall objective of the paper is to present key implementable policy actions for Uganda's transition to a green economy that is inclusive, sustainable and transformative for PEC's consideration.

2016 is the opening year of the key period for China to build a well-off society in an all-round way, and the crucial year of promoting structural reform. All regions and departments had firmly implemented the decisions and arrangements made by CCCPC and the State Council to scale up China’s Five-in-one general strategy and promote Four-pronged Comprehensive strategy. With the improvement of environment as the core, we have focused on solving prominent environmental problems and steadily promote environmental protection in all aspects so as to make substantial progress.

Experts believe the new plan will shift the future investment focus in China from infrastructure development to “green” projects. The “National 12th Five-year Plan on Environmental Protection,” released by the State Council on December 15, complimented China’s achievement in pollution control over the past five years and set new goals for the future.
