A new report focusing on a recent public-private dialogue in the Greater Mekong Subregion, (GMS) "New Opportunities for Natural Wealth Management", has just been released. The report outlines the key findings and recommendations from an event held in Bangkok, Thailand, in June 2013, and provides insights into the key opportunities emerging from the transition to a green economy in the region. Initiated by the OSLO Consortium, a global network working on the identification of sustainable land use options, the public-private dialogue was co-organized by the Global Mechanism, the Asian Development Bank's GMS Core Environment Programme, the Poverty Environment Initiative (PEI) of the UN Environment Programme and the UN Development Programme, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and WWF. The Norwegian Government of Foreign Affairs sponsored the event.
