The Natural Capital Coalition has issued a call for Expressions of Interest in conducting a "Combining Forces" case study. The Combining Forces program aims to establish and promote a common and harmonized understanding of the different natural capital approaches used by businesses and governments, with the greater aim of ensuring that the value of nature is included in decision-making across the board.

Twenty-eight scientific papers were presented at the GGKP's Seventh Annual Conference (GGKP7), with a focus on scaling up renewable energy solutions. Three high-level panels – with representative from Denmark, the Philippines, Burkina Faso, Papua New Guinea, Colombia, Austria, the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere – spoke on successful approaches on achieving national economic growth and energy security objectives by scaling up clean energy.
