Tracking the path of green growth

Knowledge news

Four years after the launch of the OECD Green Growth Strategy, the OECD is preparing for the release of "Towards Green Growth? Tracking Progress" which draws lessons from country experience and examines how to enhance policy design to deliver green growth.

The 2011 Green Growth Strategy provided initial guidance to governments on how to achieve economic growth and development, while preventing costly environmental damage and inefficient resource use. What progress have countries made in aligning economic and environmental priorities since 2011? Discussed during the OECD Ministerial Meeting on June 4, 2015, this document highlights the key findings and recommendations from the upcoming July publication Towards Green Growth? Tracking Progress.
