Adebiyi (Ade) Odegbile
Coordinator, Inclusive green economy

Adebiyi (Ade) Odegbile currently serves as the Coordinator for Inclusive green economy at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). In this role, Ade coordinates multiple UNEP inclusive green economy related activities under initiatives, including country and project coordination in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean under the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE), and updating UNEP’s Green Economy Progress Measurement Framework to incorporate environmental footprint indicators. Ade has also worked for other UN agencies in the past, namely UNOPS, UNDP, UNITAR and UNIDO. Originally trained as a lawyer, Ade later studied Development Studies at the University of London SOAS.
