Carlos Dionisio Pérez-Blanco

Carlos Dionisio Pérez-Blanco holds a Ph.D in economics and started his career as a researcher and lecturer at the University de Alcalá in Spain. Since then he has worked as a researcher at the University of Salamanca, Spanish Research Council and IMDEA Water (Spain). He is currently a research fellow at the Euro-Mediterranean Center for Climate Change and Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (Italy). His research focuses on economic instruments for water management, such as insurance, charging, voluntary agreements or water trading. This work has materialized in a number of publications in leading research journals on environmental and agricultural economics.
