Carmen Schuber

With more than ten years of international experience in advancing gender equality and women's empowerment, Carmen works on policies and programmes in the intersection of gender equality and sustainable industrial development. Prior to joining UNIDO, she was Gender and Law Specialist at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) and held various positions in programme management, coordination and partnerships at UN Women, including in the Office of the Executive Director, Secretariat of the UN Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Women's Economic Empowerment, and the Country Offices Sierra Leone and Cameroon.
