Dr. Tito Mwinuka

Dr. Tito Essau Mwinuka graduated with Doctor of Philosophy in Manufacturing Engineering from University of Manchester in the United Kingdom in 2006, he also holds a Master’s of Science in Manufacturing System Engineering from University of Warwick in the United Kingdom in 1994.

He has a wide knowledge and experience in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering System and Power Plants. He has published various journals and conducted research in field of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Large. He joined TANESCO in January 2017 as Acting Managing Director from the University of Dar es Salaam where he was head of Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering since July 2015.

Currently, he is serving at TANESCO as Managing Director effective from 17th January 2018.
