Max Franks
PhD Candidate, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research
Max Franks is a PhD candidate at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). After obtaining a German diploma in mathematics from the Humboldt University Berlin he joined the Policy Instruments research group. His research mainly focuses on the possibilities for unilateral climate policy and the interface between public economics and the economics of climate change. Max Franks studied mathematics, physics, and economics at Humboldt Univerity Berlin, the University of California Berkeley, and the University of Regensburg.
